PERSONAL BIO
Karen Upperman and her husband, Gregg, live in Anderson, Indiana, and are the proud parents of nine grown kids. Over the years, Karen has worn many hats—directing children’s ministries, teaching elementary school, serving as a missionary in Peru, writing a book, and navigating the wild and wonderful journey of marriage and motherhood for more than 30 years.
Through it all, one thing has stayed the same: Karen takes Jesus’ words in John 14:12 to heart. She believes every follower of Christ is called to do the works He did—and even greater. Nothing excites her more than encouraging others to step boldly into all that God has for them.
