The CREATIVE Power of God in You

The foundations of our faith, the Truths in the Bible that we base our lives upon, are like the bones of our body. But the Gifts of the Spirit listed in 1 Corinthians 12:1-11, is like the flesh on those bones! How you give expression to these Gifts of the Spirit, through your personality, is very unique, because you are very unique. God’s love can be expressed in multiple ways. The manner in which the anointing of Christ on you comes across, is really a creative act. 

As Holy Spirit reveals inside us certain visuals, images that can sum up a thousand words, we can express these uniquely through the personalities God gave us. It could be through music, the visual arts, writing a play, musical, or opera. We have to be non-religiously minded to pick up on the cues Holy Spirit is giving us on how, where, and what to do. The basis for all of this is the Father’s love for humanity, as well as the efficiency of utilizing you and your personality in the most effective and influential way. He’s not into waste, and He doesn’t want you to waste your life, floundering around, not knowing where you belong and not utilizing those special traits and abilities inside you!

It is time to start walking in the fullness of this. It takes you blocking out time in your day to sit in God’s presence, studying His Word, and “building up your most holy faith by praying in other tongues” (Jude 1:20-21). As the scripture states over and over again, these things are crucial to you living out this fullness of calling, of creativity.

Possible blockages include the fear of man which can paralyze you if you let it and keep you from flowing. A religious spirit can also be deadly as it wants to control you and keep you in a box. It has a form of godliness but denies the power of it (2 Timothy 3:5-7). God tells us to turn away from these people. 

Now through Jesus, we have power to live, power to dream, and power to create. After all, our Father is the Creator of the universe and His Spirit lives in us. God does have a place for you in Christ’s body. He has a place for your creativity. Rise up in His Holy Spirit boldness and take that place!
